Overview
Altra Foods is a leading importer of quality food products into Canada. Founded in
2002, Altra Foods prides itself on being a full-service food distributor with complete
inventory and multi-temperature storage facilities. We concentrate primarily on perishable,
kosher, dairy and health food products, selling a wide variety of cookies,
candies, caned foods, dairy, and juices. Our current product list is well over
2000 items and we are proud to be the exclusive distributor for some of the leading global brands in the food service and retail markets.
Altra Foods currently has over 500 active customers, including
many major supermarkets in Canada and many of the leading restaurants, caterers, and other food service operators. One of the keys to
Altra Food's success over the years has been its dedicated and professional staff, many of whom have been
in the food industry for over 20 years. Altra Foods has a team of over 15
people, all of whom are sales and service driven. We perform all marketing functions including research, sales, merchandising, promotion and
advertising.
